Dear friends, family, colleagues and followers,  

We currently find ourselves in an unforeseen circumstance given the current global climate as it pertains to public health and the effects of COVID-19. We are very saddened to inform you that our venue for A Kid Like Jake, the PAL Studio Theatre, has made the decision to lock the theatre for the foreseeable future based on the recommendations, guidance, and direction of the Public Health Agency of Canada and HealthLink BC. As such, it is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision that we will not be able to move forward and our production of A Kid Like Jake will not be going up at the end of April as planned.

Our intention is to explore future dates for this production of A Kid Like Jake, but due to the uncertainty of the effects of COVID-19, we would like to wait until we know enough information to make a concrete decision about how and when to move forward.

As you can imagine, dream of passion productions and other arts organizations will see significant losses due to the impacts of postponing their productions. If you have already purchased tickets to A Kid Like Jake through TheatreWire you will be receiving an email regarding your options to either refund your ticket or donate your ticket to help us as we navigate through these uncertain times.
